Butterfly Central Attachments – what would you use here and why?
Depending on aligner system there are default attachments used that assist in rotation.
What is more important is to assess whether the degree of the rotation on the central’s is considered highly predictable ( 0-30degrees in green zone ) mostly predictable ( 31-49 degrees in the orange zone ) or Red zon 50 plus degree.
Based on this case it appears in the orange zone.
What I would normally do is allow default attachment of the aligner manufacturer but slow rotation from 0.2mm per aligner to 1-1.25 mm per aligner to ensure predictability.
At a refinement or rescan stage we see poor rotation of centrals then I would alter attachmrnt to a vertical attachment 4-5mm in length.
